(044) Sex Education: Including Simulation in CME Presentations

Abstract Introduction Lectures on female sexuality often include power point and video materials. However, perhaps the addition of simulation may enhance educational experience. Objectives At a recent major presentation geared to Ob/Gyn health team, two authors were asked present taking sexual history, with inclusion dysfunction. It was decided that would be included highlight strategies interview skills related patient interaction attendee responses evaluated. Methods By way virtual presentation, one presented material had covered in standard presentation. before each presented, role-played care provider talking patient. The presenter, her role as provider, first incorrectly about symptoms what an indirect inattentive way, which followed by debriefing. Next, presenter more focused responsive manner symptoms, there debriefing after this. This process repeated throughout Results feedback from overall positive. Comments attendees noted they could clearly understand, through difference between correct history poor taking, and, result, feel comfortable future interactions concerning issues.
